Like many The Hummingbird Centre have had to adapt in the way we continue to support the community of Bicester, surrounding villages, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire affected by cancer.

What will happen in 2021?

At present we will continue operating our phones remotely, Monday, Wednesday and Fridays from 10.00 to 4.00, emails will be checked and answered daily (, and we've changed our services in accordance with demand, all our counselling team have been trained to carry out counselling by Zoom, Teams or What's App which we felt was better than telephone.

What will we do?

We will continue to support the NHS staff, Key Workers and those who have been supporting people affected by cancer during these very testing and challenging times.

We will continue to  keep the community, guests, volunteers, and our stakeholders up to date regarding when we will be opening and how, which as you can imagine will bring many challenges due to the services that we offer.

We will continue to keep our volunteers, guests and the community up to date via our website and social media along with any correspondence we send out which will be made available via this tab.

Our Pledge for 2021

We will continue to support those affected by cancer or living with cancer within Bicester, surrounding villages, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire in any way we can from the age of 5 upwards.

Please do  not ignore any changes that may be taking place within your body, your GP still wants to hear from you, they have created safe ways to treat their patients and we are still here for you just in a different way, remember do not sit in silence please phone us; and let us take hold of your hand for as long as you need us.

Please give us a call on 01869 244244 or send an email.

Kind Regards
