The Hummingbird Centre offer a variety of treatments to all our guests and their support network which are available on an appointment basis.

Our guests who have access to these treatments tend to pop a donation in the donation box which is located in Reception however we would like to point out this is entirely optional.

We pride ourselves on being able to provide our services for free to the People of Bicester and surrounding villages affected by cancer.

Sometimes just a little bit of pampering can work wonders, so if whilst you are at the centre you would like your fingernails or toenails painted, some make up applied, or your hair, washed, blow dried, curled or straightened, we will try our very best for you.

We also have a facial spa and a foot spa at the centre, so if you would like to sit in the Beauty Room and relax, maybe read a book or listen to some music whilst your feet soak in some lovely warm water, just let us know.

Important Information

Illness and attending the centre Whilst we understand that it is very important for most of our guests to come to the centre regularly for friendship and support, we would ask that if you have any illness that may be contagious, even in the early stages, you refrain from coming to see us until you are better.  This way, we will stop the spread of bugs and keep us all in much better health.  We must all be conscious of the fact that some guests will be undergoing treatments, resulting in them being more susceptible to germs and infections.

Car parking Parking in the courtyard immediately outside the centre is strictly for Blue Badge holders only, or those who have been provided with a short term disabled parking permit by the centre due to temporary mobility issues, e.g. following recent surgery. Other guests driving to the centre and who are able walk that little bit further should park in the area adjacent to the centre, which is a very short walk along the road – please ask any volunteer for a permit to enable you to park in that location.  When entering the area, please turn right and park on the gravel, where you will see other cars displaying Hummingbird Centre permits. We appreciate your help with this delicate subject – everyone would like to park as close to the centre as possible, especially during bad weather, but let’s all be considerate to our less mobile guests to ensure that their visit to the centre is as stress-free as possible!

Alpha Cars taxi services Just a reminder that Alpha Cars very kindly provide free taxi services for guests to/from the centre.  Should you need this service, please contact the centre and we can arrange this on your behalf.

The services The Hummingbird Centre provide are all free of charge for the guests and their supporting network.  Should anyone attending The Hummingbird Centre wish to pay, we ask that they place a donation in our donation box near the door.
Please contact The Hummingbird Centre to make an appointment with one of our qualified Therapists.
