As a web designer I’ve always loved to support small businesses but getting the chance to help a charity like The Hummingbird Centre has felt really special.
The old website was in need of a bit of an overhaul so that it reflected the services and changes that the Centre had made over the years. It was also important to make sure that people coming to the website could see that the Hummingbird was a place to come for support, relief and to offer a hand to hold, whatever cancer journey they were on.
Helping to play a part in promoting the work that the charity does and how people can help the Centre has really made me feel part of it and I’m very happy and honoured to be continuing to work with Mechelle on managing the website side of things for them.
This is a team of people that are clearly passionate about what they do. I can see from the personal stories that I put on the website how much people value the Centre as a place that is there for them throughout everything they’re going through.
As the website continues to evolve I look forward to continuing to work with Mechelle on adding new content, highlighting personal and touching stories, and keeping everyone up to date with charity events and exciting news!
