Ethan was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia in October 2022 after we had been taking him to the doctors and Churchill for 10 months.
We unfortunately ended up in A&E as no one was listening to us about how poorly he was. Straight from A&E Ethan was taken up to a ward and treatment started the next day.
Ethan finished his treatment on the 23rd November 2023 and at his end of treatment party we did a raffle to raise money for Ethan’s ward at the hospital (Kamrans) however Ethan also asked if he could donate some of the money raised to you guys at The Hummingbird too. Obviously, we said yes! You guys have been a MASSIVE safe space for Ethan and I, by just coming has picked me up when I’ve been down and I will never forget that.
