It is often said that all charities need someone looking over you every now and again. That is certainly what happened when Gwen walked into our lives, what an amazing lady and over the years she’s done so much for charity and in 2023 she chose to do some fund raising for The Hummingbird Centre, let’s just say she’s a lady who you don’t say no to.
Saturday 17th May, Paul and Mechelle Harris, attended Arncott Village Hall to meet the community of Arncott and Gwen who caught Mechelle by surprise presenting her with a laptop for the office at The Hummingbird Centre, monies raised by the community from a variety of events such as a Valentine Dance, V E Day Celebrations, Bingo Night, Cake Sales and many more.
At a recent Trustees meeting Paul present the laptop to Zoe on behalf of Gwen.
During that weekend Gwen and her beautiful dog Pebbles did a sponsored Dog Walk and presented Mechelle with a cheque for £1,175.00 as she knows its important to The Hummingbird Centre that they keep on providing the Equine Therapy which supports so many families and children.
