I am putting myself to the test and doing the 3 Peaks Challenge in 24 hours to raise as much money as possible for The Hummingbird Centre- Bicester.
Their Mission statement: “To relieve the mental and physical sickness of persons diagnosed with a form of cancer by the provision of support services for such persons and their families.”
This amazing facility is used to provide counselling, mental health workshops such as meditation, yoga and tai-chi as well as family days, play sessions and group counselling for children. They serve anyone in Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire.
Importantly, The Hummingbird Centre is completely volunteer run and is in high demand!
With Cancer being a topic close to home and my Auntie currently going through treatment, I want to raise money for a local charity making a huge difference to the lives of other people on their Cancer Journeys, so The Hummingbird Centre was the perfect choice!
Any Donations will be greatly appreciated as they continue to support so many people and work towards being able to build or purchase their “Forever Home”.
